Why I started Tangible Value
I started Tangible Value because I saw problems in our industry. I saw the importance of search engines on a philosophical and societal level. It sounds dramatic, but I saw a calling to harmonize the relationship between businesses, people, and the systems that connect them.
I saw too many service providers hiding behind the esoteric nature of the practice — allowing customers to misunderstand or overestimate the value being provided. This problem pervades all businesses and industries, but search engines touch all of them, so it stood out as a particularly impactful problem to solve.
I named the company Tangible Value as a promise to myself that I would demonstrate value to my customers that was upfront, honest, and clear. I wanted the name to hold me accountable and stave away any temptation to betray customers' trust in an industry where it's so easy to do so.
